I haven't seen any shops carrying Turbo or PCE stuff for a long time.
The last two I saw were:
(1) Video Connections in the Eaton Centre - but I went looking for them
recently and they're gone. Too bad, because they had a lot of vintage
stuff still in shrinkwrap (the reason being because they effectively never
dropped their prices from the original full retail).
(2) Brighter Minds on Milliken Wells, a small Chinese mall about 50 yards
east of Kennedy and Finch. They were obtaining used games from their
original customers as discounts against more recent stuff. But there were
only a couple of people interested in this stuff (myself included), and
I've been out of town for awhile, so I don't suppose he kept getting more,
or even held onto any of it. Last I heard, they weren't even really
interested in eBay-ing it.
As for other game shops, there are two I will mention - they are convenient
to other tourist things (in case your wife gets bored).
There's one in "The Atrium on Bay", which is across the street from the
Eaton Center (north side of Dundas). Can't remember the name, but it had a
varied stock including some older systems. Up the street are a couple of
record stores you might find interesting, because music is about 25-40%
cheaper in Canada when you consider the exchange rate (and even taxes !!).
Plus, it's downtown near a bunch of good restaurants and stuff.
And there are several import shops in a large-ish Chinese mall called
"Pacific Place" at Steeles and Kennedy. Large glass building, sharing a
parking lot with another mall called "Market Village". You will certainly
feel that you are in a different country. ;)
