It's okay...better, in my opinion, than the first and especially third games
(Bonk 3 was a real snore). The only really worthwhile chapter in the series
for me was the second game, which was quite good in its own quirky way.
However, try and track down Super Genjin 2 for Super Famicom (the sequel to
Super Bonk and Japan-only) for a first-hand look at how messed up this series
could really be (a real freak-fest). Personally, I'm happy that Bonk/Genjin
pretty much died with the 2D systems, as I just couldn't see the concept
working effectively in 3D. Then again, I felt the same way about Sonic (and
I considered the first Sonic Adventure to be an abomination)...however,
things changed significantly with the release of Sonic Adventure 2...from a
standpoint of me warming to the different viewpoint.
