Yeah, I got it. Two words: Bloody Sweet!
After four years of doing a fanzine (Game Rave to all three of you that
remember =) ), it is soooo nice to see a professional publication keep the
faith and style. ECM and Shou seem to have broken their backs to get this
thing up and running, but I'll be damned if it's not worth it. There's a few
typo problems here and there (something I'm used to with my own writing,
natch), but other than that, you won't find a better read. I have EGM,
EGM2..er..Expert Gamer, Playstation, PSM, and a few others on my desk at
work. I think I read PSM"s comic strip and the rest collect dust. I read
GameGo front to back. The back area "Free for All" rant section is one of
the best concepts yet, and they have the most truthful (to the point of
being...evil) writers I've seen yet. The scoreless reviews work too. Oddly,
the only bad thing about the mag isn't the mag, it's the mag's
web-site...the message boards need *serious* pruning.
Everyone should check it out, it's a great read. Did I mention Long Vo's a
god?
Wonder if they could use some GameShark codes for filler...^_-
