That's a good question. Based on what my understanding was, you could
contact them and point them towards Working Designs... Or, I would think
a more successful tact would be to talk to someone like Vic at Working
Designs, and try to convice them to contact Good Deal Games.
As it is, I don't know just how much coding staff GDG really has. The two
SegaCD games were feature complete with GDG took them up for release
and GDG was unable to recompile them to remove the Sony Imagesoft
copyright info (they include a note in the manual correcting the copyright
notice).
Here are a couple of quotes from Michael Thomasson the head of GDG
from when I spoke with him back in January when responding to my
issues about the pricing in my reviews:
"The publishing for antiquated systems (especially for one as obscure as
the Sega CD) is quite a risky endeavor for us (or anyone) Ideally, we wanted
a lower price point, but after production costs and licensing fees, we simply
couldn't do so. Once/If we have broken even, we do plan on lowering
the price..."
