As for Hudson games, I wasn't sure if they were bought out, not Konami, or
changed their name to Vatical. I am guessing that Vatical is the distribution
company. I always thought Hudson did well enough to distribute their own
games. I was always hoping for a Tengai Makyou for my PSX. It would be
great, hopefully inevitable, to have a Bomberman X for the PS2. Full DVD with
iLink capabilities or Modem support, with compatibility with the Dreamcast
version. Even have hidden characters from other Hudson games, IE Kabuki
Den, the one's from Bomberman '94 with Kangaroos, a Star Soldier, PC
Engine or DC or PS2, Momo Taro, or even Bonk. Of course I am dreaming,
and Konami use Hudson's label to make important games that we all 'need'
and want, like The Grinch 2 or Castlevania Kart Race. It's Belmont and
Dracula coming down the final stretch and Belmont hits Drac with a crucifix
and wins the Graveyard 500! Yeah, I'm looking forward to that....Why can't we
get a Star Soldier Remix?? All the Star Soldier games with better sound
slightly, ONLY slightly, enhanced. The best part of old school shooters
is their charm, toy with that and you risk alienating your loyal fans. Just a
rant from a looney guy.
