Re: reading material

While we are on the subject of TTI/NEC's software support, I want to ask 
something. I heard recently that when Mortal Kombat was originally coming 
out (way back when), Midway offered TTI exclusive rights to the title which 
TTI summarily turned down. Can anyone support or refute this claim? Can 
anyone elaborate further? Just an interesting tidbit I thought I'd pass 
along/ask about.
