Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anybody here used they're PCE Engine through a scart
Lead?
I'm having problems. My PCE Coregrafx 2 works on My big older TV in the
front room fine (it's the kind where you have to select the AV Channel
manually), but on my brand new (2 weeks old) portable in my bedroom I only
get sound and a blank screen. You see the new tv selects the PC Engine as
soon as it's turned on.
However my PS1 works fine .
The only difference that I could see between the Scart Plug on The PCE and
PS1 was that the PS1 plug was ever so slightly longer . Could it be that the
points on the scart lead aren't connecting properly on the new TV? Like it's
got a longer socket than the other one? The guy in the shop said that if the
scart lead isn't pushed in properly then you might only get sound and no
picture or Vice Versa.
What do you reckon?
