Whoah, whoah, wait a second... there are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT Dracula X
games that were made. Rondo of Blood for the Duo and Nocturne in the
Moonlight (Symphony of the Night) for the Saturn/Playstation. NitM was the
sequel to the Duo version, containing several of the same characters, such as
Richter Belmont and Maria Renard. Rondo of Blood is more of a
straight-forward action game, whereas the 32 bit sequel is much more like
Super Metroid in a gothic atmosphere. It also contains many more rpg
elements. I would also have to say that Alucard in Nocturne has some of the
best animation I'd ever seen in a 2D platformer. Both are outstanding games,
though.
