There were a lot of reviews at the the TE's time of release that 
praised it to the stars, but there werne't too many thorough ones that 
didn't take note of this. EGM fairly ripped on it for seeing the title 
screen logo of R-TYPE throughout the first stage of play! The image 
burn-in does tend to happen most when there are bright images set over 
darker backgrounds so it doesn't happen all the time. 
Also, my TE passes the Splatterhouse test, and the Blazing Lazers test, 
and the Bonk's Adventure test, and the every-other-game-I-own test, I'm 
pretty darn confident saying it doesn't have any burnt-out pixels.
