It's funny hearing all of the buzz and hype around the Net regarding GameGo.  
With the first issue, I was extremely underwhelmed...and I was a GameFan 
reader from the first issue through the last.  I think it has something to do 
with the format...it reminds me a bit too much of Electronic Games, Steve 
Harris' old more "mature" spinoff of EGM.  If everything shifts to a more 
GameFan-friendly format (which always was the best), I'd be more satisfied.  
It's still unknown how big a dent they can make in the print world, though, 
with a magazine focused on such things as shooters, imports, and dead 
systems.  While all of this stuff is really nifty to me, the casual users and 
little kids rule the market...and they read tripe like GamePro (why does it 
still exist?) and EGM.
