Boy, does that game bring back memories : )
I remember about the rainbow necklace. One time long ago my mom decided to
play parasol stars (and boy did she stink.) She found this weird powerup
called the rainbow necklace, got 99 continues and beat the game with ease.
Ever since then when we played the game we always asked her how she got it,
and unfortunately she didn't remember. Now whenever I play with my family we
come across it off and on but there never is a distinct pattern to it. Sorry
if this didn't help but I feel like being nostalgic just right now

P.S. No there are no secret levels unless you include the ones you access
after beating a boss with 3 of the same symbol thingies.
