Re: TZD update

Just a thought guys, maybe not a good one. I don't know nearly enough
assembly to be usefull in the process, and hacking roms is a fine art.
Especially since the graphics are compressed on the turbo, and you're going
to need to change the tileset the japanese games had for text into english
characters. Quite an undertaking IMHO. It may be just as realisitic (with
the tools available) to re-write the engine for a game and rip the graphics
from screen shots. It may sound silly, but heck, you've got a C compiler,
and for those parts of the app that need more you've got ppl on this list
who know assembly for the 65c02 as well who could do whatever low level work
is necessary.

When you go that far, I know there are talented graphic artists on this list
too. You could use new code, new graphics, and only have to play royalties
for the storyline/audio if it was released to the public. :)

Just a thought. Both sound like a heck of a lot of work. I'm sure Zeograd
and David M. could lend us some helpful advice in this area too.

Take Care,
