I happen to think that MK probably would not have done much for the Turbo,
even exclusively. Firstly, the standard Turbo pad only has two buttons,
where MK used 4 (or 5... they all blend in over time. :) ) So then they
would have had to make a seperate controller (which they did, if I'm not
mistaken). And unless you guys haven't been paying attention to the Mortal
Kombat ports of recent years, Akklame never got the Mortal Kombat games
right. The feel was wrong, the games were choppy, and the sprites weren't
tall enough. Perhaps the Turbo could have done justice to MK, and perhaps
Akklame could have pulled it off, but to say it would have saved the turbo
is stretching it a bit far.
