Yes, the AC Pro will work with Duo systems. You will get the PC Engine
Super System 3.0 screen with the japanese menu for the memory Manager.
As for it being a waste?
I don't know about that one. Should your duo die on you, and all you can
get to replace it is a TG + CD combination then the ACPro will work like
the Super System 3.0 card AS WELL as an Arcade Card.
One or two games won't work with the US version of the Super System Card
"Bonanza Brothers" (a few people can fill in the other titles. I think one
of them is some sort of demo disc). Anyway, the built-in PC Engine Super
System 3.00 software in the AC Pro will help you circumvent that problem.
