I'm sorry to use the forum in this way but I would like to urge anyone who
is able to give blood to please consider giving the gift of life to help
support fellow Americans who's lives have been shattered due to the tragic
events of yesterday. As a friend of mine from the Red Cross told me a
single victim could require as much as 2 - 3 pints of blood just to make it
to surgery. I does not matter where you live in the US your gift of life
will be used. I heard a report stating that the US lost close to 55,000
American lives in the entire 15 years of the Vietnam war. We may have
exceeded this number in a matter of 2 hours yesterday. Once again fellow
listers I apologize for using the forum this way but I hope you will
understand.
