I'm gonna go insane if I don't fix the AC adapter plug/socket on my Turbo
Express. It doesn't seem to make good contact or something. If the cord/plug
is moved the slightest while I'm playing, the game resets. It has done this
since the day I bought it. The contacts seem clean and solid, so I can't
imagine what the problem is. Has anyone experienced this? What did you do to
fix it? I tried soldering a big ol' capacitor across the jack terminals
inside the TE, but it only helped a little (I could only fit a 470 mic in
there). I guess I could buy a better jack and dangle it out the existing
hole, but that seems a bit cloogey.
Also, what's the proper spelling of "cloogey"?
