Hi listers!! I have been a subsciber to the List for a few months now,
but this is my first post. I have a few problems / questions I was
hoping someone could help me out with. I am a newbie, but bear with
me. I'm coming on strong, as my collection already includes 2 duos, 70
games, arcade cards, etc.
1. About a month ago, I got a Kisado adapter, and I'm having some
problems with it. Here's where my confusion comes in. When putting
the arcade card into the kisado and playing arcade card games,
everything works 100% fine everytime. However, when I try to play
Japanese hu cards through the kisado, I have a heck of a time getting
it to work. So far, I have Ninja Gaiden and Street Fighter 2 CE
japanese hu cards, but I only got them to work the day I first got the
kisado. Ever since then I can't get them to work. My question
is.....is this common? I mean, if there was something wrong with the
kisado or if I just had a bad connection putting the card in, why is it
that the arcade games work everytime and not the hu's? If there was
something wrong with the kisado, I would think that I would have
trouble using the arcade card sometimes too....but I don't. ? ! ? !
?
2. Secondly, I have NJPW 94 (Battlefield Pro Wrestling) for the arcade
card. I can get the game to load, but when I push the run button to
start the game, it either freezes or goes back to the "Super System
Card 3.0 start screen." I know its not because the arcade card isn't
being detected, because when I try it without an arcade card all that
happens is a picture of the Great Muta pops up saying I need to use an
arcade card...(at least thats what I assume it says....not too strong
with Japanese language yet : ) ) Has anyone else had any trouble or
heard of any compatibility issues with this game....or others?
3. This last thing is kind of a result of the other 2 problems. Is
anyone selling or know someone who is selling a Japanese Duo? With all
these problems, I'm kind of ready to give up with the whole adapter
mumbo jumbo and just get a Japanese system!!!!
Thanks in advance for your help. Any help would be greatly appreciated
and you can e-mail me at xxxxxx@aol.com or of course I'll also be
checking the list for responses. Thanks.
