It really depends on the CD player, actually. heh.
With most common (heh) audio CD players (like the one I use, heh) - you
won't feel any difference. heh.
But certain CD players (including a lot of PC CDROM drives and CD based
consoles) will start skipping more frequently, especially with burnt CDs.
heh.
PC CDROM drives and audio CD players are quite cheap to repair or replace,
heh, but I guess game consoles are a bit more problematic, heh, when it
comes to that, especially the less common ones. heh.
The store owner where I buy some of my video games stuff told me he was
getting a tons of PSX units with damaged lasers because of excessive burnt
CDs usage. I'm having some troubles with CDX unit occasionly, after I was
using it to play a lot of burnt audio CDs for a while.
