Here is the repsonse I had gotten from GDG about whether they were
going to release any more games in the near future.
<<We sure would like to! We are certainly having a fun time with them!
We have worked out licensing negotiations for several unreleased
games. Unfortunately, we did not get much support on our initial
releases. We are a small company, and the idea was for the first two
releases to acquire the funds for future releases. Unfortunately, we
lost our shirts on them, and may never recoup our initial investment
back. So, if you want to see more games resurrected for the Sega CD,
Saturn, 3DO, and others, please tell your friends to support GDG's two existing titles: Bug Blasters & Star
Strike.
Cartridge releases will definately come later, as they are even more
pricy to produce than CD titles. Again, without support from the
gaming community, it all ends w/ Star Strike and Bug Blasters.>>
I think everyone should really try as hard as they can to try to
support this company. It would be nice to see them make a little money
off of these two games and release more stuff in the future. I know
I'm going to be buying both of the games next week and I hope more
people decide to support them as well. Alex
