Here's a message from about a year and a half ago:
"Greetings,
Since a few people asked about the Ten no Koe Bank hidden file
trick, I will describe how it is done. However, I have not been able to
test it yet because it only works if the fourth bank is empty. If it
has been used, then you CAN'T do this.
So with bank four unused push and hold RUN, SELECT, 1, 2, and push
and hold UP and LEFT on the d-pad. Then turn on the power while still
holding these buttons. Next, at the title screen hold LEFT and push 1 four
times.
Then hold DOWN and push 1 six times.
Now hold RIGHT and push 1 twice.
Next hold UP and push 1 twice.
Then hold SELECT and push LEFT four times.
Now hold SELECT and push DOWN six times.
Now hold SELECT and push RIGHT twice.
Then hold SELECT and push UP twice.
Finally push RUN. If done correctly, useful saves from 14 Hudson games
released up until the time the Ten no Koe Bank was should be in Bank 4.
One might notice the number of times to push the second button are
in the order: 4, 6, 2, 2. This may have some meaning, but I don't know.
Should someone be able to use this code successfully, I would like to
hear what games the saves are for. "
