Hello List Members.
Just wanted to give a heads up that I have finally released Humpball
v1.0 for the PCEngine. Humpball is a 0-2 player game that is a cross
between volleyball and pong. There are powerups (and power-downs),
and enough options to challenge just about anyone. You can play
Humpball on any PCE emulator, or use on your Magic Griffon (etc) and
play on real hardware. You can download Humpball by going to
http://mindrec.com and going to the PCE section. You can also
download some of the other efforts that I have done for the PCE
(Crash, Orbit2) at mindrec.com as well.
On a couple other notes: while at mindrec.com, you can check out a
preview of Implode, the next release for the PCE. A demo version
of Implode will probably be available in April. I will need a
couple more beta testers for Implode (I need to limit the number,
so only the first few respondants will be able to help out), so
if you are interested in playing a few hours of a new Puzzle game,
and giving soem honest feedback, please let me know.
Also, just as an FYI, this month marks the 9th birthday of the Turbo
List. I know that when we started it back in '93, I didn't expect
it to last this long, but the community is as strong as ever, even
if it is a bit quiet at times.
