MAG Fest is now less than 6 weeks away. Just wanted to recap all the Turbo
related events we have going on.
1.) BT will be present Saturday to do a panel on Implode and Game Design for
Turbo Duo. We will also be hosting an IMplode Tournament and an Iron man
event including Dracula X: Rondo of Blood.
2.) Aaron Nanto of pcenginefx.com is making an exlusive 45 minute epsiode of
PCE TV to be premiered at MAG Fest. It will premier Friday afernoon in the
Event Hall.
3.) Media Blasters is premiering the official US release of the Ys anime. It
will air Saturday evening in the Event Hall.
4.) Tubo Zone Direct has donated the following items to be given away as
prizes and auctioned off: a factory sealed Turbo Express TV Tuner, a Turbo
Express bundle package, and the very last Turbo Duo ever manufactured
complete with Ys, GoT, Ninja Spirit, and Turbo Force Isue #3. The box is
factory sealed.
5.) Turbo Zone Direct has also loaned us a very special item we will have
under lock and key on display. It is the very first Turbo Grafx 16 ever
produced in the States. It's in a hard plastic display case, mounted on a
miniture pedastal, and it has a plaque that reads, "First Production Unit,
September 1st, 1989."
There will be a few smaller TG related events going on, but those are the
biggies. So has anyone here decided to attend? Or will it be me, BT, and the
local TG crew?
