I also wondered about this since I've never seen one with the little pull
tab thingy. I looked through my double CD jewel cases that were
supposedly new and unopened and they all are just plain shrinkwrapped.
No pull tab at all. I even remember buying some of these games from a
store in Japan in this condition. I'm positive all the games were new
because they didn't sell used games 'cept for PSX/Sat.
If anyone has a new in shrink double CD case game with the pull string,
then I'd like to know which game that is.
As an aside, I bought Virtua On:OT on DC the day it came out in Japan and
it was simply shrinkwrapped; no pull string. It was in an oversized CD
case (like Arcade Card case or Tengai Mayko SCD release case). Now that I
think about it, my Tengai Makyo SCD was shrinkwrapped with no pull string
too.
