Ok, I am sure we have all been over this topic before. But, I have to
bring this up.
I can't get over the demand there is for Hu Card converters (you know, to
play Japanese Hu cards on your US system). It seems every time I turn
arround, someone is asking me where they can get one. I don't really have
much to tell them.
I have learned recently that playthegames.com (I think) claims that they
will have NEW Kisado adapters soon. How they are getting these, I have no
idea... but they want $79 each... Hummm and I thought when I payed $30-$40
for mine it was expensive.
Now to my point.I have heard different things from different people... Some
say the guy who made the Kisados, can no longer make them because he can no
longer get the "Hu card slots..." or something along those lines. I have
seen just about every converter that has surfaced. I just don't understand
why someone can't make some new ones, and fairly cheaply. After all... any
part can be made right? Even though Hu Cards, and their slots are not
standard by any means, can't something else be "adapted" for our needs? I
can't help thinking, that if enough people put their heads together a new
converter could be made, and be sold for around the $40 price again.
