I have a PC Engine duo with the same problem: It first worked ok,
but with the time, it started to have abnormal time loads, one
day was not able to load cdrs anymore, then original cds started
to work bad (gradius II music when you enter your hi score sounded
awfully), then one day, it was not able to load any more disc. I
was trying to fix it opening the console and adjusting one of the
small screws of the laser, and it worked, but one week later failed.
I adjusted again, and in some days failed, some more days, again
failed, etc... If i put the console in some degrees (in diagonal
position, i mean) sometimes works... Anyone can help me, too? :)
