Well it's really not that bad but here's what happened...
One day my dad hears about the turbo duo and tzd's trade in deal for trading
your graffix 16 for a duo. He trades it in and a while later it came in the
mail. Keep in mind I had no idea that this was happening. So it arrives one
afternoon along with a bunch of games he ordered and the freebies that came
packaged with it. Now I was about 8 or so, so you can imagine how excited I
was when it arrived. So he hooks all up (which must have took 2 hours what
with our VERY complicated set up) and turns it on. What! nothing happened!
Knowing my dad we thought that he must've hooked up somting wrong
So he checks everything over. 3 hours later (me being in bed now) I can
still hear them working on it. The next morning, being hopeful that they had
fixed it by now, I find that nothing changed. No power no sound no nothing!
So when I came home from school I found that my dad had sent it back to get
another one. Well a month and 1/2 later (yeah I know when your young and you
really want something it seems to take FOREVER for it to come in the mail,
but I swear it was a month and 1/2)
This time I find it on the porch and got really excited. It's finally here,
I thought. Well when my dad comes home that day and hooks it up it everthing
seems to be working perfectly except one major flaw. You couldn't save
games! I was tramatized. So now most of our new games we can't play because
they require the memory to save the game (took us forever to figure that
out, the message about formatting the memory or something kept comming up.)
Now add everything that has already happened to the fact that that was our
ONLY video game console at the time and that I was only 8 I was gameless for
1 month and 1/2. So we send it back and what seems 2 months we finally get
it back and FINALLY it works perfectly this time. I never really liked em'
ever since. Especially thier phone service.
