Also part of the rumour is that he was a Capcom programmer. I think the
rumour is a bunch of bunk myself, but possibly some would dismiss it based on
the fact that NEC Avenue was doing the game...not Capcom. However, if you
recall, Son Son II on the PC Engine was a joint Capcom/NEC Avenue effort.
Was that the only time that Capcom actually had any play in a PC Engine game
(versus someone else just porting their games...although I have it, I know
not who did the convert for Street Fighter II...never payed attention)?
Maybe they needed to as the NEC Avenue ports were mostly either utter rubbish
or missed opportunities. I did like Sidearms, though.
