I believe most CD (not SCD) games will run fine with the 1.0
card - I don't know of any that have problems, but some might exist.
A couple of games (Altered Beast et al) will run *only* on the 1.0
card, but not on the 2.0 version.

Head over to the Turbo List Archive, and you'll find all the
info you need! To play US Hucards on Japanese systems, there are 2
basic steps - you need to defeat the internal region lockout (not
hard), and also switch the pin setup around to match the US layout
(kinda tricky). The latter can be accomplished by using a converter,
or installing a switch into the system that will let you change
between the 2 modes.
If you're handy with a soldering iron, it's not too difficult;
it just a very tedious job and takes a lot of work.
If you need help, I've done US/JP mods on quite a lot of systems
(probably around a dozen or so by now), and am very familiar with it -
feel free to ask questions! Or, I'd be able to do one or both mods if
you'd like them done.
