hey there,
i'm in jersey too! just outside of ocean city and atlantic city. i'm
in a band too but our gig season ended with the summer. maybe we'll check you
guys out sometime. anyway, the best way i know of getting turbo cd music is
to run it through a regular cd burner and copy the tracks then pop them into a
computer and convert them to mp3. if there is anything in particular you need
i may be able to help even though i'm a bit busy these days. take it easy,
george
ps- there are some cd's that have the audio locked off for some reason. i
don't know why but there are plenty out there (and saturn games as well) which
can just be popped in to a cd player and most burners and played.
Hey people,
Please don't knock this email im sending out to all of you right now as
an advertisement (another list did that) because I have a GENUINE question,
and obviously have been posting to this list the last couple days.
Turbo Music: Its got to be out there. I want it, need it, and have the
urge to remake some of it. I was wondering if any of you have or know if any
mp3s or cds from some of the more mainstream turbo US titles are available.
I'm in a band here in Jersey City, NJ called Evil Adam and in the past I
have remade some music from Starcraft and an ancient PC game called Demon
Stalkers. I've been wanting to give my hand at some of the music from
Blazing Lasers, Bonk, Legendary Axe and the RPG portion of Final Lap Twin,
among othes, but the only stuff I have found have been pretty poor quality
MID files here and there. Since i usually like to learn the song listening
to it straight off my computer where I record (not that close to where my
duo is) having a cd or mp3 of the songs would be infinitely helpful!
If anyone has any suggestions or files or cds they could send to me,
trade, or sell, please let me know! I use kazzaa, aim, and have ftp space
that it could be uploaded to or it could just even be emailed. Please
respond to me here or you can message me on AIM at "Evil Adam"
Thanks,
Evil Adam
