Re: Hu card converter...

After working with Keith for years, I would assume DisKounters would
probably have an exclusive (hopefully) or be the primary source if such
an item ever was developed. We have worked hard to get the parts
needed to find out if it was possible to re-create such a converter (or
make a new one).
I would prefer TZD NOT to get them. At one point, they were nice with
us, but decided to cut us off and become extremely rude. I would
prefer to work with other companies that I can trust.
I also have had over 100 people contact me about such a product. I
have a list of emails (and still taking a list) for those wanting a
converter. BIG PROBLEM - most people told me they are ONLY WILLING TO
PAY $30, since that is what we were selling Kisados for. I even
mentioned to a few we were considering such a project, but once I said
the cost could be $50 - $75 due to our overhead costs, many complained
"but the kisado was only $30 so thats all I am willing to spend". Not
one person, but 15 - 20.
If people would be willing to stretch their pocket books to about
$50...it might be a little easier...but still tough. Again, costs must
be recovered...and it does not look like that will happen (at least
within a few YEARS).
Remember, Keith and I brought the list Turbo Slips that were virtually
identical to those original slips...and we have not covered costs from
that project.
Best bet is to get the word out...find out HOW MUCH and HOW MANY...I
would love to get emails from people telling me how much they are
willing to spend on a converter...and would continue compiling a list.
If the numbers get there, we might be able to order. After all, we are
collectors too, and it would be a nice addition to the TG hardware
lineup (10 years or so after the system was introduced).
