"Value", as always, is completely subjective.
Personally, while I think the laser active module is a nifty item, there's
probably little additional value in getting them NIB. Also, consider that a
new (as in modern and just bought it at fry's) game console runs for $300 give
or take... $208 a piece for an old unit is just a lot.
Sellers are fond of quoting ebay prices at you whenever you're looking for a
good deal. Turn the tables on them, inform them that the modules get an
average selling price of $40 on ebay, and then offer them $50 a piece. $200
for the lot. If you have cash in hand they might deal. If they don't leave
your name and phone number, I guess, and walk away.
Of course if you're doing this mail order and you're just talking to a
flunkie, it might make things a bit more difficult, but $208 a piece really
is, imo, too much.
