Hi,
I went to Kyoto just this past May, and I found one
good game shop there. It is on "Teramachidori"
street, south (ie: towards the station) of the long
shopping arcade. I can't describe its exact location,
but when I was walking along Teramachidori, I kept
walking south and the boring old clothing & souvenir
shops gave way to PC and electronics shops. And, on
the left (ie: east) side of the street was a games
shop, with a lot of great FC, MD, PCE, etc... games
for pretty cheap on the 2nd floor. They even had a
display case with "ultra rare" games from many
systems. Ah, and a book with hu-cards for sale was on
top of that case. (CD games were on the regular store
shelves.)
