RE: games shops in Japan?

Well, I don't know much about shopping in Kyoto (haven't been there for
about 5 years), but it is a short train ride from the Osaka area, when
you'll find DenDen Town. There's only a few places here that carry PCE
stuff still, but I find that a little shop called...what was it called?
Tiger something. Tigerland? Anyways, there's a picture of a tiger on
the sign. The bottom floor is mostly newer stuff, PSX, and systems.
Look on the top shelves and you may find some PCFX or PCE systems. I
picked up a SuperGrafx last time for about $60. Upstairs you'll find a
whole half of a wall dedicated to PCE games, and a glass case
displaying the rarer titles. Most of the games carry a light price tag
and they have a good selection. Of course, also stop by Sofmap and
check the other places just to be sure. You may find a few places I
haven't yet. I wish I could comment on Akihabara, but my poor student
status prohibits me from doing so. Good luck on your hunt!
