Excellent idea!
My top 5 would be:
1. Bonk - all (I'm just a platformer addict, and the gameplay of this
one is truly unique)
2. Time Cruise (I also love good pinball games. I think this one
takes the cake!)
3. Neo Nectaris (great in head-to-head mode)
4. Bomberman '93 / '94 -- fantastic for parties!
5. Titan -- a little known one, sorta like 2D Breakout.
Others that didn't make the cutoff: Klax (enjoyable but the sound
effects grate on my nerves; I have to put on a CD or MP3 stream
instead), Xevious and Galaga '88 (only when I'm in a retrogaming mood),
and Photograph Boy (which I don't currently own, but is a fantastic
novelty game...)
Anyone have copies of Dungeon Explorer / Dungeon Explorer II (or even
Photograph Boy) with which they'd be willing to part? I still have a
number of duplicate Japanese games available, and would be willing to
mail a list (trades only.)
