My love of the Gamecube feels a lot like my love of the Turbo Grafx always
was... many gamers today with "cool" PS2s and XBoxes have a senseless bias
against the GC like those who had a "cool" SNES or a Genesis did against the
TG16 back in the day (I mean no disrespect to any of those systems).
Fortunately Nintendo is in the business pretty much to stay, unlike NEC which
pulled out when the going got rough.
In any case, Animal Crossing is one of the most unique and fun games I've
played in a long time. I've played it almost every day since I bought it.
Every time my interest starts to wane, I find something new that sucks me
into it again. The only thing keeping me from playing it more is that I've
been pulled back into the world of PSO. But you're right...it is a love it
or hate it game.

<< I hate to post OT considering the list is slow with relevent topics,
but in light of the Gamecube comments I've been reading: is anyone else
out there playing Animal Crossing? I piked it up on a whim, figuring it
would last a week, but damned if I'm not firing it up for 45 minutes
every day. Definitely a "love it or hate it" kind of game. I guess I
love it.
I wish I knew someone else who had it, I'd like to try going to another
town. The mere mention of Gamecube gets a lot of negative reaction from
personal friends who play games though...
