This is an email sent to me from TZD. They are looking for some help in
the Turbo community. Also, they manufactured thousands of repair cables
for controller thinking that they could be used with turbo taps, which
some of us know to not be possible. Any ideas on how they could make use
of that investment? I think they should make swap cables for the 6
Button Controllers.

It seems the obvious is not always the correct answer. You're right, we
tried plugging in the repair cable to the Duo tap but that assumption
proved false. And since we're out of Turbo taps, we're no longer able
to
offer the reverse Duo tap.
Yes, the repair cable is what's left when we add a Duo cable to a Turbo
pad. We had that cable made when we ran out of Duo pads. Now if only
we
could sell a thousand or so, we might recoup our investment... On
another note:
Do you know of anyone interested in helping keep the Turbo community
alive?
We need someone who can repair a balky laser on a Duo, a broken RF input
on
a TG-16, a bad screen on an Express. The pay ain't great but there's all
that love to be had for keeping yet another gamer in front of his TG.
Any ideas would be welcome!
