Currently the systems I own I will never ever get rid of. My PS2,
GameCube, DreamCast, TurboDuo, Gameboy Advance, and NeoGeo Pocket color all
have their specific reasons for remaining in my collection and retaining
their usefullness as game machines. Each have great exclusive games, with
oodles of gameplay, good music, and decent graphics. Finding that balance is
key, and for me the x-box and n64 just never had that, along with some of
the other systems i never bothered to get.
The one thing that i wish i could find for turbo duo that the others can
produce (of the consoles) is an s-video adapter. The picture is so much more
crisp that its made me go back to playing old psx titles and dreamcast
titles that i hadn't touched in quite some time, and anything on the
gamecube in s-video looks phenomenal.
I'd have to say that from a standpoint on gameplay alone, the playstation 2
is the system to own of the current-gen systems, with the cube at a steady
but far 2nd. I have a total of 2 games for the gamecube (metroid and
godzilla) but I plan on getting eternal darkness and a few other games that
are of merrit. The ps2 on the other hand has many more games that are
currently good along with the large library of very good psx games.
If anyone can convert the old turbo duo cable to s-video or knows of some
way to get that done, please let me know
