Duo R is stereo. However, many Duo R systems came packed with a cheaper
mono cable. The standard US Duo cable
works for stereo from the Duo R. I believe that many Duo R units had the
repackaged mono cable. I have a Duo R that has
a stereo cable. You can also build a cable that works. I have the pinouts
somewhere, but I am sure someone has a website with it on it (Gamesx.com is
my preferred site for info)
