I've got one more thing to ask about this. The Game Gear has a similar
problem due to a capacitor that goes bad. From the sounds of it though,
with a bad capacitor, no/little sound should come out anywhere(even
headphones). Could anyone verify that or could the TE possibly have a
bad capacitor as well. The headphone jack still works ok on the TE
system so I wasn't too sure.
