hey list,
a quick note from tokyo. prices are pretty darn good these days
for the most part. having scoured akihabara, i picked up lots of great
deals on PCE stuff but there are some intersting notes (i:ll send you
more info when i get back next week).
for the first time ever, i found SuperGrafx 1941. actually, TRADER
had 2 copies in stock and they were very cheap at Y8,000. Sapphire is more expensive than ever at about $320.00
Dead of the Brain has disappeared. it was everywhere the last time
i found it in akihabara (two years after its release). the one copy i
found was $100. some NeoGeo quiz game freaked me out when i saw the price of
it....240,000 yen! this must be a pretty rare cart indeed. picked up cosmic fantasy 3 for about $2.00
nectaris hu card (bare) for less than one dollar.
PC-FX in the box $80.00. that store must have been blowing it out
cause i ve seen it for much more in other places. macross 2036 is about $35 right now which is a great price for this.
dracula X is back to being well over $100 again.
