Re: Turbo Duo Sound Circuits

To answer Erik's question and those others might have about what I'm
talking about, I'm addressing the lose of sound problem that seems to
befall all US and JP Turbo Duo's.

Goes like this:
1. CD soundtrack (not sound effects) start failing to be audible.
2. All CD game sounds become inaudible
3. All sound effects and music for CDs and HuCards become inaudible.

I know that a lot of Duo owners have seen this. Generally the first
signs are dropped music on CD games after the system "warms up", after
20 minutes to 2 hours. As mentioned previously, the problem seems
isolated to Duo systems where the heat sink is very close to what I
believe is the audio circuitry and the AV port. I have begun
installing a very small fan in Duo systems for people that
SIGNIFICANTLY reduces temp at the heat sink. Of course, it's way to
early to tell the long term beneficial effects, but it seems to work
well and draws about 100 mA of juice (very little strain).

So PLEASE give me input!!
