I missed out on alot of games over the years being located in Winnipeg
Manitoba Canada alot of games esp the rare ones were extremely hard to
find/buy I saw Beyond Shadowgate ONCE in this city... and that was from some
Video Rental store called "International Video" So I'm not sure where he
even got it....
Anyhow to my point I missed alot of the CD games out here as the TGCD/DUO
was expensive and not many ppl knew what it even was... I do however recall
many many of the local youths at the time would gather at my place after
school just for a chance to see Y's Book 1&2... Also I think I was the only
one of everyone from my school except my best friend to even connect video
games to a home Stereo. And this blew them away as well esp the music in
Y's.... (I had bein doing this since I got my NES back in the day and I
realized right away it had an A/V cable) Solstice was a fav.....
Anyhow I'm straying from the point.... I was just trying to prove that the
TG16/CD/DUO wasn't hugely popular here so I missed out on ALOT of games and
of course here in Canada I was un able to order from www.tzd.com (altho I
did once and got an uncle who lived in USA to send it to me that was Y's IV)
So I had to order from Donsal Inc. But at the time when all the good games
where still around and availble I was in school and only worked part time so
I never got to get so many of the games I so dearly wished to own.
Ok ok to my point (Too much caffine I guess, I'm typing like mad)
I'd like to swap/trade games with fellow listers via mail.... BUT heres the
catch I don't want to give up ANY of my titles so I'd like only to TRADE for
say a month or something then swap back.
I am wondering if anyone has done this on the list in the past and if so
did it work out well or not or at all or did anyonw get ripped off ect....
My games are all in MINT condition (unless I got them used) and I baby CD's
never will you find fingerprints or scartches ect... game come out of the
case into the Duo and when done it goes right back in it's case.... so I
would like to get them back in the SAME condition I sent them in.....
If anyone out there is interested b4 going ahead I will ask fellow listers
about the person I am dealing with and if they have done any past
transactions...
I don't want to loose any games just play the ones I missed out on!
I'll make a list of my games IF there is interest (I'll also trade Hu Cards
for CD/SCD... I'm not too interested in swapping Hu for Hu unless it was a
really good game or if it's an Import)
Sorry for the rambbling on and on... but this is something I've had on my
mnd for a long time... and yes even tho you may not have seen me around the
list much I've done a few swaps over the years that I've bein on and off as
my ISP/E-mail changed..... and the last trade I did was the one wich made me
decide never to SWAP game for game..... in that I swapped the sweet effects
filled game : Syd Mead's Terraforming for Psycic Storm (I've regreted it
ever since)
