hello fellow listers
seems my last message set off a bit of interest when I mentioned the
S-Video mod
in brief, I tap the internal RGB as shown on the www.gamesx.com site and
use a homemade S-Video encoder (CXA1645 based) to generate S-Video
signal. The encoder needs the CXA chip, a sync separator, and an
oscillator to work properly for the Turbo and the results are really
nice with this set up. The JROK converter which is typically used for
things like SuperGuns for playing arcade games, works terrible on Turbo
systems.

I plan on making a FAQ on this in the future, but all the info is out
there to make this work fairly straightforward. Just a lot of effort!
By the way, a big thanks to Matt Ross of Hawaii for all his help on this
stuff. Also thanks to List member Andy Meyers for his previous help
with the region mods.
