Yes, it's quite playable once you do a few practice run-throughs and learn
what the menus are. Since all the despriptions are in English, all you have
to do is figure out what does what on the menu.....writing it down in a
simple key should be sufficient (but i never bothered). My buddy got hooked
on it coming over to my house to play it, and I think he must have cleared
at least the first 4 or 5 stages.
The mission goals are mapped out graphically between levels, sometimes with
some English, and they point you to the goals as well...it's not all that
hard to figure out.
As for availability, I have one available for sale at the moment (last
copy). I don't know if it has the spine, but I"m pretty sure it's near
mint-mint. It's not super rare or super expensive...
