hey List, greetings from tokyo. there 's a little video shop which i
mentioned to you before which sells ceap old vhs tapes. tonight, i
came across an Ys animated episode which i never even knew about. has
anyone heard of this series? the episode had some very familiar
artwork. ii found episode 3. it mostly featured dogi and adol walking
around underground and then finding the grey tower. i'm trying to
remember what that might be from. could it be Ys III? i never
finished that game though i want to pick it up again.
also, man, Ys is everywehre these days. i think the name itself is
popular because there are some completely unrelated shops named 'Ys'
such as a hair salon in harajuku and a used car dealership in nerima.
what gives?
as for Ys III on the PS2, it looks good but i'm not getting my hopes
up. will anyone ever get that game right? Ys VI looks incredible
though and was pretty poular here in japan. one night last year, a
couple of listers and i hit akihabara where i was shown the PC version
of Ys VI which came with all five previous versions. which reminds
me...
which version of Ys VI was on PC? the pc engine or super famicom
version? i have yet to play the super famicom version (mask of the
sun). was it any good? how about Ys V?
