Hi Hal,

Radio Shack has a power brick that has worked 100% for me.  The
voltage and mA ratings don't exactly match the TG-CD power brick but
that has not been an issue for me.

the brick you want is a 12V, 1500 mA (1.5 amp) brick, cat. #273-1779.
I remember when I was researching this for myself I found that Radio
Shack doesn't make an exact match for the TG-CD adapter, but this one
was the closest match.

Unfortunately, I can't remember off hand which plug you want but I
think it is TIP Q or R or something. Maybe M.

I just brought in my TG-CD and tried all the tips they had and the one
that fits snugly is the one that works.

I have been using this setup for years with no problems.  Good luck.
