Hey, folks...
I have a Turbo Express problem - it powers on, loads games from the
Hu-Card, and I can tune TV channels through the tuner... but I get
absolutely no video. Not even a wink. I've taken it apart, cleaned and
reseated all of the connectors, and still no luck. Does anyone else
have experience with this problem? or better yet, have a TE for
sale/trade for parts? - in particular, I'd be looking for a working
screen, of course :)
Similarly... I have a Turbo Grafx 16 base unit I picked up from a
garbage bin - it plays hucards, powers on, etc, but has a graphics
glitch problem - any hucard that loads has graphics problems, so I
expect a problem inside the unit. I've had it apart, but couldn't find
anything obvious, and my experience with eletronic board repair is
limited. That is far from a priority, as I have two other systems -
but it's something that I'd like to repair and either give away to a
friend that's interested, or maybe trade away to an individual on the
List that's inclined to repair. At best, you fix and get a good TG16
unit - at worst, it's a great practice run for installing your own mod
switch!
Any help would be appreciated... Glad to see the list is still Alive!
