Hey, folks...
I've been a lurker here for years, though I've never written on the list -
though George P. might remember me from a transaction or two and some ME help
over the years. I recently won an auction for a Turbo Express, Turbo Vision,
and about 8 games on Evilbay. The Express is non-working and was included as a
'bonus' - I'm just hoping to fix it and get it for a song! - maybe :)
The Express powers on, the sound works, the games load, and they respond to the
buttons. The screen does power on visibly (backlight comes on), but it displays
no picture. Any ideas on what this could be or if it's a fairly easy fix? If
it's not, does anyone do repairs on these anymore (and would it be worth the
repair price when I can get one new from BT for $130?)
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!
