Few questions about a TG-CD unit I've acquired recently.
It's missing power supply and AV cables. I notice TZD has something
called TG-16 AC Adapter. Will this work for the CD unit? Or do I need
another type of power supply? I know there was a recent thread about TG
power bricks, shoul've paid closer attention ...
Second question ... I've been made to understand that US 3.0 Cards are
rather hard to find and expensive. True? If so, how much should I
expect to pay and any ideas where I could find one aside from eBay?
Oh that reminds me, is it true the TG CD has no internal memory and all
the game saves are stored on the 3.0 card? Any other discrepancies and differences I should be aware of? Duo was
my first NEC system back in '93. Never had the 16 or CD dock, so this
is all new to me.
Right now I'm using a Pioneer LaserActive with Sega and Turbo pacs. If
I can get this to work out, I'll most likely be selling off the whole
huge LA bundle if anyone is interested.
