i was originally thinking if it were possible to just insert the
extra super grafx parts into a turbo express so that the SGX games
could also be portable. i still wonder if it is doable. again,
assuming the processors were easy to get a hold of. so, is there room
in the express? then i got to thinking...
developing new games may be out of the question but how about
hacking the original roms to run more smoothly with a super grafx or
arcade card? can you imagine the games like R-Type being told they had
a little extra power to tap into?! that would be so cool! or better
yet~ how about replacing the sprites, backgrounds, and music of games
like lords of thunder or an RPG (aor any game with a solid engine) to
'create' new games. given the patches that people have found a way to
plug into a game, this seems like it could be the next logical step
(coming from a programming ignoramus, that is).
